paper club

A reading group by mndlabs. We pick papers, study and analyse them carefully, and discuss them together, from the work that laid the foundations of the chosen field to the latest research and how it is applied in practice.

About

Serbia is full of talented people capable of making real contributions and advances in AI.

Paper Club aims to bring them together in person: researchers, engineers, and founders alike, to openly discuss the foundations of the field, new research, and where it is all heading. By meeting face to face, we want to strengthen the connections between people and open doors to new research and entrepreneurial ventures.

01

Focus

The club is primarily centered on artificial intelligence and machine learning, with plans to expand into other fields such as bioinformatics, psychology, and economics.

02

Interdisciplinary

Because artificial intelligence sits at the intersection of many disciplines, we encourage students and companies from different fields to take part and offer their own perspective on problems and solutions.

03

Free and open

It is free and open to anyone willing to take part in the debates and present occasionally.

Open discussion. Disagreements welcome.

Presenting? Start from our slide template (in Serbian). Two versions, same layouts: title, section, content, two columns, figure, key idea and closing. Opens in PowerPoint and Keynote. Install the free fonts Fraunces and DM Mono first so the slides look as intended.
